MY
PRACTICE
PHILOSOPHY
Painful experiences can often make our bodies feel like a painful place to be and to cope - we often 'check out’. I believe this disconnection from ourselves can become chronic in today’s stress-filled online world and what was a nervous system strategy born to help us survive, is keeping us stuck, over-stimulated and suffering.

The mindful modalities I work with, from trauma-informed bodywork to somatic sound therapies are practiced with the aim of turning down outdated survival reflexes to help relax, rebalance and regulate the nervous system. The goal, no matter the practice, is to help you safely return back to the body. Learning new way's to manage and support the systems we call home, whilst empowering the body's own inherent wisdom to take care of itself.
we have the ability to regulate our own physiology, including some of the so-called involuntary functions of the body and brain, through such basic activities as breathing, moving, and touching;”
